dayEnameling: Five-Week CoursePick a date on their booking pageFive weeks of vitreous enamel — powdered glass fused onto metal in a kiln, which is how jewellery gets colour that does not fade. You work through wet packing, sifting, sgraffito and cloisonné, firing between each stage. It suits people who already like the bench but want something other than polished silver at the end. dayIntro to Jewelry Casting: Four-Week CoursePick a date on their booking pageCasting is the part of jewellery making most studios skip, because it needs a kiln, a vacuum and somebody who knows how to run both. This Bushwick studio is built around it: over four weeks you carve a model in wax, build and burn out an investment mould, pour molten metal and finish the piece that comes out. It is the fastest route from a shape in your head to a solid metal object. The studio does not publish a price on this listing; check its booking page. Verified in August 2026.Check with the studio

dayMetalsmithing: Eight-Week CoursePick a date on their booking pageAn eight-week grounding in bench work at the Bushwick casting studio — sawing, filing, soldering, forming and finishing silver — run alongside the casting courses so the two skills meet. Eight weeks is long enough that the soldering finally stops being terrifying, which is roughly the point of the format. The studio does not publish a price on this listing; check its booking page.
