About
A private enameling session in which you sift powdered glass onto copper, layer colours and stencil before firing with a torch or kiln; a three-hour basics option and a six-hour cloisonné option with wirework are offered. At Fitzgerald Jewelry, 243 Grand St in Williamsburg, near Bedford Av (L) and Marcy Av (J, M, Z). From $300; you purchase first and the studio schedules you between 12 and 6 PM (10:30 AM on request), with weekend slots best booked about three weeks ahead. Of the 18 jewelry classes on our calendar, Fitzgerald's private sessions are the only ones in North Brooklyn.
