Community Tickets
About
Community Tickets is Brooklyn Botanic Garden's free-entry programme. Our listing records that the garden sets aside free tickets each day for anyone who needs them, reservable through bbg.org/tickets, with a share held back for same-day requests. The tickets page passes visitors on to the garden's ticketing system, and the part available to me prints no admission prices and does not describe the Community Tickets scheme, so confirm the current rules, how many tickets one person can reserve and whether any proof is asked for on bbg.org/tickets before you go. The audience is anyone for whom standard admission is a barrier. No age limit is printed. Our listing shows it running every day except Monday, in line with the garden's hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm, last entry 5:30 pm, closed Mondays. The garden is in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, with entrances at 150 Eastern Parkway, 990 Washington Avenue and 455 Flatbush Avenue. Take the 2 or 3 to Eastern Parkway–Brooklyn Museum, the B, Q or S to Prospect Park, or the 4 or 5 to Franklin Ave. For other low-cost ways in, Cooper Hewitt is pay-what-you-wish from 5 to 6 pm daily, Poster House is free on Fridays, and Brooklyn Botanic Garden's own Seasonal Highlights Tour is a free guided walk.
