History/theory Panel: Fascism / Antifascism
About
A panel from Cooper Union's School of Architecture on how buildings have served fascist regimes and the people organizing against them, looking at cultural centers, housing, detention sites and memorials. The speakers are María González Pendás (Cornell), Sarah Lopez (UPenn) and Daniel Jonas Roche of The Architect's Newspaper. Tuesday, October 20, 6:30–8:30 pm in the Frederick P. Rose Auditorium at 41 Cooper Square, a block from Astor Pl (6) and 8 St–NYU (R/W). It's free with Eventbrite registration, and there's a separate Zoom option. It's one of nine free Cooper Union talks on our calendar between now and mid-November.
