Wood Lathe Basics and Certification
About
This two-hour evening class introduces the wood lathe and certifies you to use Ace's lathe afterwards. It runs Monday, October 19, 7–9 PM, at 6050 Lowell Street, Suite 214, Oakland (near the Oakland–Emeryville line, a short walk from the AC Transit lines on San Pablo Avenue), and costs $70, with two tickets left when we checked. Lathe access is otherwise hard to get in the East Bay without a full woodturning course.
