Brew It Yourself: Intro to Homebrewing

A six-hour hands-on brewing day at Workshop SF's Mission location, 726 15th Street (16th St Mission BART is a short walk), where you and a couple of partners brew a 5-gallon batch and learn about malts, hops, yeast and sanitizing, with a tasting of several styles. It runs 11 am–5 pm on Saturday, Oct 17 and costs $175, which includes a return session on Wednesday, Oct 28 (7–8 pm) to taste and bottle the beer. It's 21+. This is the priciest class on the October calendar, but the fee covers a full batch of beer split among the group.
