Belonging in Nature: Queer and Trans in the Nurseries
About
A community volunteer morning at the Marin Headlands Native Plant Nursery, staffed by an all-queer team, where volunteers transplant seedlings, prune, process seed and help maintain the facility. Saturday Oct 17, 10 am–1 pm at 1301 Kirkpatrick St, Mill Valley 94941; free, all ages, registration required; drive/park. It's a low-key way for LGBTQ+ folks to meet people outdoors without the pressure of a hike or a bar.
