The de Young stays open after hours for a Halloween Eve party: candlelit galleries, DJ sets from In Session, Off the Grid food trucks, cocktails and photo spots, with art-inspired costumes encouraged. It runs 6–10 p.m. at 50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Dr in Golden Gate Park, near the N Judah (9th Ave & Irving) or the 44 O'Shaughnessy; the music concourse garage stays open until 11 p.m. Tickets are $45 general or $95 VIP, 21+, and include Treasures of the Pharaohs plus the permanent collection, though exhibition entry isn't guaranteed.
