Free First Sundays
About
On the first Sunday of each month OMCA waives general admission to its Galleries of California Art, History and Natural Sciences, and drops Great Hall special-exhibition tickets to $6. Upcoming dates are Nov 1, Dec 6 and Jan 3, during regular 11 am–5 pm hours at 1000 Oak Street, Oakland, one block from Lake Merritt BART. It is the cheapest way into one of the East Bay's biggest museums, and the free architecture walk at 1 pm the same day makes a good add-on.
