2nd Friday Art Walk
About
On the second Friday of each month, downtown San Rafael opens its galleries and studios. Art Works Downtown at 1325–1337 Fourth Street hosts receptions in its galleries, open artist studios and the Ceramic Art Center of Marin boutique, while nearby venues such as the Marin Society of Artists join in. Most venues run 5–8 PM, the next walks are November 13 and December 11, and it is free. The San Rafael Transit Center (SMART and Golden Gate Transit) is two blocks away, so the walk is easy to reach without a car from Sonoma or San Francisco.
