Let Her Sing: a Celebration of Female Voices
About
Diaspora Arts Connection's 10th-anniversary concert features six female vocalists and a band, celebrating women's voices that are suppressed or censored in parts of the world. It starts at 7 p.m. in the Blue Shield of California Theater at YBCA, 701 Mission St, near Montgomery St BART. Tickets are $65–$175 via City Box Office. It is one of the few ticketed concerts in YBCA's main theater this fall, and the price tiers mean the cheaper seats go first.
