Coyote Hills marks the longest night with campfire stories, music, hot drinks, s'mores, a solstice craft and dusk wildlife watching at the Nectar Garden. Monday Dec 21, 4–5:30 pm at the Visitor Center, 8000 Patterson Ranch Rd, Fremont (drive/park); drop-in, free. A gentle family alternative to the holiday-crowd events in the cities.
