Día De Los Muertos Community Altar

Park staff at Crown Beach host a community altar for Día de los Muertos, a drop-in programme where visitors can stop by during the week of the holiday. Sessions start at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 21 and Thursday, October 22 at Crown Memorial State Beach, Alameda (drive/park). The district doesn't publish a fee or end time on the listing, and drop-ins are welcome. It falls the same week as OMCA's 32nd annual Día de los Muertos celebration on October 25 and the San José Museum of Art's community day on October 24, both on our calendar.
